Homage to the story "L'homme qui plantait des arbres", through a reinterpretation of the cover and the typographic pages inside the book.

The year 2023 marked the 70th anniversary of the story’s publication—an occasion to recognize Giono not only as one of the most significant figures in French literature, but also as a dedicated pacifist and environmental advocate.

My proposal of the story has the technique of my own intervened photographs that have been modified to meet a new style with bright and contrasting colors, with a free interpretation of perspective.

With the aim of making a fluid and dynamic reading I have chosen to add small POP-UPs that interact with the reader where the layout of the text translated into French is included; in turn this presents illustrations and photos of my own.

As a tribute to his three books Steal Like an Artist, Keep Going, and Show Your Work!—for their representation and reflection on creativity in today’s world—I reinterpreted the first of them in full. This included the cover, back cover, and sample interior pages, resulting in an innovative aesthetic that departs from conventional reading formats.

Acknowledgment to Julio Cortázar for Rayuela. His ability to break with traditional narrative through playfulness and innovation has inspired me to rethink how I tell stories and translate my inner world through photography.

The process of finding myself has been much more difficult than I could have imagined. At first I didn't know how to express through photography what I felt and what moved me inside... it wasn't until weeks later that I understood that each of the photos I take express something that is intrinsically inside of me. And this is what I want to capture.

I get naked to show my chaos. And with it, my fears, my subconscious, my person, my way of being, what moves me, my most chaotic interior that not everyone gets to understand, what disturbs me, what I love and what I hate, my day to day life....

My redesign was aimed at redirecting the supplement to a different audience than the current one: people between 20 & 55 years old.

To achieve this, both the layout model of the front page and the interior were modified to provide a fresh and new aesthetic value.

The main objective was to increase sales and re-popularize the consumption of newspapers.

Styling project and reinterpretation of the new era of Y2K culture.

Love letter to the youth that pays homage to the figures of 2000, where the kisses of a democratic and free fashion without the difficulties and challenges of that time are established. Drawing inspiration from this aesthetic to reach a current but singular style.
